Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
The oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic of Dr. Panagiotis Sennis specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of salivary gland problems, as well as the treatment of benign and malignant tumors of the area. Through the dental department and based on general dentistry, it offers comprehensive solutions for oral and facial diseases.
Maxillofacial surgeon Panagiotis Sennis is a graduate of the School of Dentistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki . Following special exams and preparatory courses, he received his specialization in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Baylor College of Dentistry , in Dallas, USA.
In 1997 – the same year he received his degree in Dentistry from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, he also graduated from the Military Academy of Officers with the rank of Ensign of the Navy. During his military service, he received – in 1992 – a diploma from the Military Academy of Officers for “excellence in morals and military qualifications”.
Subsequently, he attended numerous courses and seminars at the Athens Naval Hospital , while in addition to the Dental Department, he was an intern in the clinics and laboratories of the departments: Internal Pathology, Microbiology, Cardiology, General Surgery, Dermatology, Hematology and Microbiology.
In 1998, he took over the manning of the Dental Clinic on the Warship “ARIS” during a training trip of the Naval Cadet School in the USA. From 1999 to 2001, he served as an assistant in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Athens Naval Hospital.
During the years 1999 to 2001, he attended and participated in numerous scientific conferences in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, while in 2001 he received praise from the Organizing Committee of the 5th Multidisciplinary Medical Conference of the Naval Hospital of Athens for the work “Mechanization of the Maxillofacial Surgery Department of the Southern Naval Hospital”.
In 2001, he was admitted to Baylor College of Dentistry, Dallas, USA, to obtain the specialty title of “Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery”. During his specialty, he gained clinical experience and served as an intern at the medical centers: Baylor University Medical Center , Medical City Hospital and Southwestern University Medical Center – Parkland Memorial Hospital . In 2005, upon completing his specialty, he received the “Certificate in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery” degree from Baylor College of Dentistry, Dallas, USA.
Returning to Greece, in 2005, he received the title of Senior Curator in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery of the Athens Naval Hospital until 2008. In 2008, he was promoted to Senior Curator until 2012. From 2012 until today, he has been the director of the department.

During all these years, until today, he has developed extensive academic activity with dozens of presentations and contributions at conferences at national and international levels.
